Koa Top Les Paul Custom Hollowbody is in stock again!
This one is a 2019 and is likely a store order or Gibson factory local selection or locally selected wood. (A certificate of hand-selection is included).
Luxurious koa wood with beautiful grain is used for the top, and the side backs are made of fine mahogany. The fingerboard is black ebony.
Since it is a Les Paul Custom, it is basically put together with gold hardware, and the diamond inlay on the head is also a unique Les Paul Custom specification.
However, we should not forget that there is an F-hole on the body top.
It is made by hollowing out the mahogany of the inside body using the same production method as the CS series.
The bridge is equipped with a gold Bigsby.
Looking at the absence of tailpiece mounting marks, it was probably factory set from the beginning.
The pickups are 57Classic.
The pickups are 57Classic, which are not as big as semi-acoustic pickups with a larger body size, but they produce a sweet sound in clean mode.
Of course, it can be used for a variety of genres due to its size.
The condition of the body shows no signs of having been played much, and there are no noticeable scratches.
There are a few minor scratches, chips, and some chinks in the parts, but they are not of much concern.
The head has a few cracks in the paint near the inlay, characteristic of Gibson, due to aging.
Overall, this is a good condition piece, and it would be very expensive to order a new one like this from Gibson now. Staff recommends this unit.
