[SN 677051] USED GIBSON / Les Paul Recording Original White 1975 [05]
Gibson / Les Paul Recording Original White is in stock!
Optional color white recording, very rare one.
Serial 677051 and Pot Date is 71. Judging from the serial and pot date, there is a possibility that it was made in 71-72, but since the optional color white started around 1975, there is a possibility that it is from the end of 1974 to 1975. The serial numbers of the pieces are 71-72 and 74-75, so there is a high possibility that the pieces were made in 1974-75.
The white colored body has some weather checks and burns, but considering the age, it is still in very clean condition. It has black binding, which is very cool.
The control system includes a volume and toggle SW, as well as a high/low impedance switch, phase switch, decade control (11 levels), treble/bass EQ, and TONE SW. Combined with the original low-impedance pickups, this allows for a very versatile and wide range of sound makeup. The pickups themselves are characterized by low noise and wide range.
The frets, nut, bridge, tailpiece, and jack have been replaced. The volume pots have been repositioned, and there is another hole near the volume, although it is not obvious on the PG. Some of the pots have been re-soldered, but the internal parts and electrical system are highly original.
There is enough room for the truss rod, so playability is good. This is a very rare White color Les Paul Recording.
