[SN 70908164] USED Gibson / 1978 ES-335 Wine Red [05]
This is a late 70's ES-335 with the unique sound of a stamped numbered PAF.
The power is strong in its own way, and it has the unique 335 sound of this period, which even current reissues cannot produce.
It has original Schaller nickel-plated Gibson pegs, sombrero knob, blanco tailpiece, and a slim 3-piece maple neck with volutes.
The narrow grip of the narrow neck has its pros and cons, but surprisingly, it also has some advantages for Japanese players, such as making it easier for the left hand to play ballet chords and complex forms. It is also recommended for fast and technical players.
The calm burgundy color gives it a mature atmosphere, and the blanco tailpiece is stylish.
The strap pins have been replaced, the truss rod cover is cracked, there are cracks and distortion in the escutcheon, and there is damage to the bridge plating.
There is also paint over-lacquer, chipped binding, noticeable paint burn, and paint cracks.
The back of the neck has been painted thickly, and there are deep cracks at the low and high positions, causing bumps.
The back of the neck is painted thicker and has deep cracks and bumps in the low and high positions.
