[SN 596025] USED Paul Reed Smith / Custom 22/12 10-Top Ruby [05]
Production has now ceased, and this model is available only through Private Stock orders.
The body features a flamed maple top and mahogany back, while the neck is made of mahogany with an Indian rosewood fingerboard.
The neck shape is the "12 String" model, with a 44mm nut width.
The pickups include "12-String Treble & Bass" models, with a Lindy Fralin single-coil pickup in the middle position.
The default controls consist of 1 Volume, 1 Tone, and a 3-way toggle switch. Normally, pulling the tone knob activates the middle pickup, and the bridge pickup is coil-tapped; however, the previous owner has modified the wiring so that pulling the volume knob activates the middle pickup, and pulling the tone knob coil-taps the humbucker.
The original wiring diagram is included.
There is some tarnish on the metal parts and dents on the body (on the side of the tailpiece near the 6th string, next to the control panel on the back of the body, and about 9 cm above the endpin along the edge of the back), as well as slight discoloration around the body’s perimeter; otherwise, it is in good condition.
It also comes with a control panel bearing Paul Reed Smith’s handwritten signature, which reads “2005 YOKOHAMA.”
Considering it is 21 years old, it is in good condition.
