[SN 14 214618] USED Paul Reed Smith / P245 Scared Red [05]

The "P245," a rare single-cut model that is no longer in production, has finally arrived after a long absence!

One of PRS’s signature single-cut models, the P245 Scarlet Red. In addition to its beautiful archtop design and refined playability, this particular instrument is a real gem—featuring extremely high-quality figured maple that rivals a 10Top, despite being a Non-Ten Top. The Scarlet Red finish highlights the three-dimensional grain, revealing rich textures depending on the angle.

Featuring a figured maple top, mahogany neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard, this guitar delivers the balanced tone and high playability characteristic of PRS. The Pattern neck shape offers a grip with just the right thickness and stability, making it suitable for a wide range of players.

Equipped with 58/15 pickups, it features a sound that combines vintage-like warmth with modern clarity. The Singlecut design delivers the thick, resonant sustain and rich mid-low frequencies characteristic of the style, making it suitable for a wide range of genres from clean to distorted tones. Additionally, the Piezo Adjustable Stoptail bridge allows this single instrument to cover both electric and acoustic-like sounds, which is a major appeal.

Weighing approximately 3.78 kg, it is easy to handle while delivering a solid tone and comfortable playability. Combined with nickel hardware and bird inlays from 2014 onward, it boasts a high-quality, understated look. This is a highly polished instrument that perfectly balances sound, appearance, and practicality.

While there are some signs of wear on the parts and a few minor scratches, the guitar is generally in good condition. After purchase, we performed a full adjustment at our repair center, so it is ready to play immediately.
