2005 Custom Shop model.
This Oxblood 1954 Les Paul Standard is modeled after the Les Paul famously used by "JB" (one of the three great guitarists) in "BBA" and featured on the "Blow by Blow" album cover.
This special model recreates the 1954 Les Paul Goldtop, originally equipped with P-90s, which was modified with two humbuckers and refinished in a deep, unique oxblood color. It features a black rod cover, Schaller M6 tuners, a bar-type bridge, speed knobs, and Burstbucker 2 & 3 pickups. Like the original, it is equipped with double black pickups without covers.
Certificate of Authenticity is missing.
Body back paint damage, internal knob cracks, and other minor scratches, dents, and tarnish on metal parts are present, showing signs of use. Cleaned and fully adjusted after arrival; plays perfectly fine.
Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches present, but no issues for normal use.
