[SN S833114] USED FENDER / 1978 Telecaster (Natural) [06]

[SN S833114] USED FENDER / 1978 Telecaster (Natural) [06]

A 1978 Telecaster in player's condition has just arrived!
Based on the serial number and pot date, we’ve determined this to be a 1978 model.

The wood configuration features an ash body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with a round inlay. The wood has a dense, substantial feel typical of this vintage.
The sound is also typical of the late 70s—powerful with a slight compression and a crisp tone—making it perfect for playing styles like cutting that draw inspiration from the music of that era.
At our repair center, we have re-wound the front pickup, straightened the neck, refretted the guitar, replaced the nut, and corrected the fingerboard.
The body was stripped of its original finish and refinished with a clear coat, but it lacks luster and shows signs of cracking, chipping, lifting, and clouding in the finish.
The neck has also been oversprayed and shows cracks and chips in the finish. There are some areas where you may feel slight resistance when playing.
It appears the tuning pegs have been replaced, and additional screw holes have been drilled to secure them.
There are dents and playwear throughout the instrument. Additionally, the metal parts show signs of peeling plating, rust, and tarnish.
