A used FENDER USA / US Vintage 57 Stratocaster in Fiesta Red has arrived.
This model was originally released as part of the U.S. Vintage series before being renamed to the "American Vintage" series in 1998.
It features an alder body with a maple neck in a Soft "V" shape, and the fingerboard is also maple, featuring a 7.25-inch radius and 21 frets.
It has a 25.5-inch scale length and a 1.650-inch bone nut.
The back panel is missing.
The strap pins had been replaced with locking pins, so they have been restored to the original style.
The pickups have been replaced with Fender Custom Shop models, and the rear pickup now has a tone control.
The body has significant finish damage, including dents, chipped paint, weather checking, dulled finish, peeling paint under the joint plate, and cracks in the finish at the neck joint. It appears to have been over-lacquered.
The back of the neck has numerous fine dents and scratches, and there is a noticeable dent on the 1st fret.
It has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had the frets leveled since arrival.
Condition Grade: B: Shows significant wear and signs of use, but is in good working condition for normal use
