It features the popular Journeyman Relic finish paired with Closet Classic hardware. The back of the neck features a Heavy Relic finish.
It features a lacquer-finished "2-Piece Alder" body, a slightly thicker "63 Strat Style Oval 'C'" shaped 5/4 quarter-sawn maple neck, and a "Round-Lam AAA Rosewood" fingerboard with a 9.5" radius.The frets are the slightly narrower and taller "Narrow Tall (6105)" type.
It is equipped with three "Custom Shop Hand-Wound Fat60s Strat" pickups. The middle pickup is a RWRP (reverse-wound, reverse-polarity) model.
The control setup uses the "Strat Vintage Mod Vintage Wiring #2," which allows the tone control to affect the bridge pickup as well, making it easier to play.
Due to the relic finish, it is difficult to discern, but there are almost no noticeable scratches or damage that detract from the appearance.
It has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had its frets leveled since arrival.
