We’ve just received a used Fender USA American Performer Telecaster!
Manufactured at the Corona, California factory, the American Performer Telecaster features the authentic tone and feel unique to USA-made Fender, along with modern specifications throughout that inspire performance and take it to a new level.
This model is equipped with two Yosemite(TM) single-coil pickups, specially developed for the American Performer series, which deliver a rich and expressive tone.
The Yosemite™ pickups feature a staggered, non-chamfered pole piece design for high output, and the front pickup is potted in shellac solution while the rear pickup is potted in wax, effectively suppressing feedback while delivering a dynamic sound.
The American Performer Telecaster also features a Greasebucket™ tone circuit that attenuates the low frequencies appropriately when the tone control is turned down, preventing muddy sound. The Modern C-shaped neck with a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard is equipped with 22 jumbo frets, allowing for smooth and precise bending.
There is some tarnish on the metal hardware, a dent on the back of the neck at the 1st fret, and fine scratches on the body.
It has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had its frets leveled since arrival.
Condition: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use
