[SN L11435] USED FENDER CUSTOM SHOP / 2024 Limited Edition 1964 L-Series Stratocaster Heavy Relic Faded Aged Target 3-Tone Sunburst [06]

[SN L11435] USED FENDER CUSTOM SHOP / 2024 Limited Edition 1964 L-Series Stratocaster Heavy Relic Faded Aged Target 3-Tone Sunburst [06]

The 2024 Limited Edition 1964 L-Series Stratocaster Heavy Relic is now in stock as a used item!
This model is based on the 1964 specification from the L-serial era and reproduces the distinctive color known as "Target 3-Tone Sunburst" from that period.

It features an alder body, a "63 Strat Style 'C'" shaped lift-grain maple neck, and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25"–9.5" compound radius, paired with "Medium Vintage 47095" frets—offering a vintage-inspired spec with comfortable playability. The spacing between the clay dots has also been narrowed to match the era.

It is equipped with a set of hand-wired "Fat '64" pickups, delivering a presence-filled clean tone and a robust overdrive sound.
The controls feature the “Vintage Mod #2” system. While the standard configuration includes a 5-way selector, master volume, front and center tone, and rear tone controls, it incorporates a treble bleed circuit, allowing you to roll back the volume without sacrificing high-end response.
Although it is a Heavy Relic model, the spec sheet lists it as “Between Relic & Heavy Relic,” resulting in an exquisite finish where the paint has not been stripped excessively, making it a standout among recent Heavy Relic models. The back of the neck replicates a worn finish, providing a smooth playing surface.

Due to the relic finish, signs of wear are difficult to discern, but there are no particularly noticeable signs of use, and it is in excellent condition. It has been fully adjusted since arrival and is ready for use.
