[SN 306175] USED Martin / D-28 (with L.R.Baggs Lyric) [Vintage/1972] Martin Martin Acoustic Guitar D28 [08]
The D-28 model represents the Martin Company.
The D-28 was born in 1931 with a 12-fret joint and in 1934 with a 14-fret joint.
The spruce top and rosewood side/back body is an all solid dreadnought with an ebony bridge and non-scalloped X bracing.
The approximately 42mm nut width, long scale mahogany neck is covered with an ebony fingerboard.
The V-shaped neck has a square rod embedded in it.
Grover rotomatic pegs were used from 1958 to 1978, and this instrument is also equipped with a milk bottle with PAT.PEND.USA.
Strap pin at the heel of the Neck and L.R.Baggs Lyric pickup are retrofitted.
* There is a trace of bridge peeling correction in the past. The position is 2mm closer to the head side.
* It is believed that the pickguard has been replaced.
It has been maintained by a well-known guitar workshop since its arrival!
Neck angle adjustment, fingerboard correction, fret replacement (jescar vintage), nut and saddle replacement (ox bone), and bracing peeling correction have been done.
Paint has been changed (or over-lacquered) on the lower left and right sides of the top of the body, and there is a mark on the lower left side of the back of the body (with coloring).
There are some minor weather checks on the body (especially on the top and sides).
There are many dents, scrapes, scratches, repair marks, and age-related changes, but playability is good!
The relatively calm sound is characteristic of this piece, and you will want to bite into each note and play it.
The sound is a perfect blend of thick bass and familiar treble!
Pickups are also included, making it highly promising for immediate use!
Item rank: B: Fairly, there are some scratches & signs of use, but no problem in normal usage.
