YAMAHA / LS16 ARE Natural (NT) Yamaha Acoustic Guitar Folk Guitar Acoustic Guitar LS16ARE LS-16 [80]
The L series is world-renowned as Yamaha's top-of-the-line acoustic guitars.
Even after 40 years since its release, the "L" continues to be used by many artists as a masterpiece.
It is because it has always delivered the sound and playability demanded by the times at the highest level.
The L series brought an era of acoustic guitars to Japan and continues to evolve with the times, always responding to the wishes of the players.
That is the L Series.
Small body, all solid specs, Ingleman spruce top, rosewood SIDE and BACK.
The top material is treated with our original "A.R.E (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement)" treatment, which has been used on the top models of the L Series (LL26, LL36, etc.).
Enhancement (A.R.E.) treatment, which has been used in the higher-end models of the L Series (LL26, LL36, etc.) up to now. This gives the instrument a rich sound as if it has been played for many years!
The bracing is the same non-scalloped X-bracing as before, but in this renewal, the bracing has been lowered and the shape has been changed to a square. This allows the X intersection points to fit perfectly!
The NECK has been changed from a conventional 3-piece to a 5-piece mahogany and rosewood construction, providing greater strength against warping and twisting! Also, the 10th fret is 1mm thinner than before.
The fretboard is 1mm thinner at the 10th fret to improve playability in the high position! In addition, the fingerboard edge has been rounded off for smooth playability that fits comfortably in the hand.
The new model has been designed to be more comfortable and smooth to play!
In the new model, the string height and pitch between strings have also been changed, with the 6th string side slightly lower and the 1st string side slightly higher than before, and the pitch between strings has been widened by 0.3mm.
This new model is equipped with a "passive pickup" and can be immediately connected to an amplifier. (Please purchase the cable separately.)
The pickup uses a piezo element similar to the SRT used in APX, CPX, and other eléacos. It has excellent response and sufficient output!
Double action truss rod", which was not equipped in the early L series, is built in and works for both forward and reverse bending.
