Steve Vai Signature Entry-Level Model Limited Reissue "JEM Junior Special" in Pink.
A limited reissue of the JEM Junior Special Pink, which was discontinued in 2019 to much regret. It features a meranti body with a monkey grip finish, a slim Wizard III-shaped maple neck, a jatoba fingerboard showcasing "Tree of Life" inlays, and is equipped with Ibanez Infinity H-S-H pickups and a double-locking tremolo unit.
This model has garnered significant attention not only as a Vai signature model but also because it is a favorite of the “lonely” senior guitarist.
The volume knob has been replaced, and while there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks, etc.), the overall condition is good.
Setup (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling) was performed upon arrival. The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate up to ±60° and is in good working order.
