[SN E912592] USED Fender Japan / TL72-55M (CTL-50M) BLK [3.56 kg / Manufactured 1984–1987] Fender Japan E-Series [08]

This Fender Japan Telecaster TL72-53 (neck stamp: CTL-50M / body stamp: CTL-50), manufactured between 1984 and 1987, features an E-serial number and is made by Fujigen. It faithfully replicates the 1972 style, including a modern logo, two string guides, and a 3-way chrome saddle.

It features a mahogany body, maple neck, 184R fingerboard, 4-point neck joint, GOTOH Rotomatic tuners, and Vintage (JAPAN) pickups.

This Telecaster is simple yet beloved for its solid, tight tone, and is highly recommended for guitarists and vocalists alike.

The pickguard has been replaced with a 1-ply, 5-point model; the switch knob has been swapped for a single-tone version; and the nut has been replaced. There are signs of wear (including discoloration, dents and paint chips around the edges, small scratches and scuff marks, scuffs and wipe marks, picking marks, paint peeling on the fingerboard surface, edges, and around the neck, as well as tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, and nut replacement). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been tested to 60 degrees in both directions with no issues.
