[SN R329] USED YAMAHA / SG-12AS VY (Vintage Yellow) 30th Anniversary [3.94 kg / Manufactured 1995–1996] Yamaha 30th Anniversary Reissue Model [08]

[SN R329] USED YAMAHA / SG-12AS VY (Vintage Yellow) 30th Anniversary [3.94 kg / Manufactured 1995–1996] Yamaha 30th Anniversary Reissue Model [08]

This is the Yamaha SG-12AS VY, part of the limited-edition SG-7/SG-12 "30th Anniversary" series (200 units total: 120 in yellow and 80 in moss green).

The SG-12AS was marketed as a "true replica," largely due to the strong association with Yuzo Kayama and Kunihiko Kase—legends of the Group Sounds movement that sparked a massive craze.Featuring a Katsura body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, each part is styled to match the original. This model stands out with its machined tremolo arm cap, a front pickup redesigned with a parallel configuration (unlike the original), and gold hardware.

This guitar faithfully recreates the original model made famous by the "Young Master of Electric Guitars" and the Wild Ones.

While signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks, dents on the back of the body, tarnish on metal parts, etc.) are visible, it is in good condition considering its age.

It was fully set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees in both directions and is in good working order.
