[SN F780860] USED Greco / SE500N (Natural) Spacey Sound [4.16 kg / Manufactured in 1980] Greco [08]
A mid-range 1954 model (the 1960 model features a rosewood fingerboard) SE500. It features a sen body, a one-piece maple neck, a single-ply pickguard, PU-S5x3 pickups, a 3-way selector switch, a Greco-stamped pressed saddle at the bridge, and MH-S8 tuners stamped "Deluxe Greco."
This is a model known for the tight sound of its Sen body, often referred to as "Japan Ash."
The tremolo arm is missing, and there are signs of wear (sun fading, paint chips around the headstock and body edges, minor scratches and scuffs, scuffs and wipe marks, paint peeling on the fingerboard surface and edges, picking marks, buckle marks, a cracked pickguard, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).
Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The naturally narrow fret tops have been leveled to a lower profile but remain at a height suitable for playing. The truss rod has been tested to 60 degrees in both directions and is in good working order.
