Made in 2006, the Fender Custom Shop 1969 Stratocaster NOS Olympic White is now in stock!
The combination of a relatively lightweight alder 2P body, round rose-applied maple neck, 7.25R fretboard radius, C neck shape for any player, and a large head with F-key pegs and 4-point bolt-on are the characteristics of the 1969 Stratocaster. The pickups are original hand-wound pickups by legendary craftsman Abigail Ibarra. The gray bobbin is marked with the date of manufacture and signature. The cavity has been sealed by the previous owner for noise reduction.
The back panel and certificate of authenticity are missing from the time of arrival. Please note this in advance. The body has some dings and scratches with paint cracks, color migration, and a small paint crack on one side of the neck pocket. The hardware is a bit dull, but there are no operational problems and it has been polished relatively well.
Neck condition: No major problems.
There is enough room for truss rod.
About 60% of frets left. Minor string marks.
String height at the top of the 12th fret: 6th string side: approx. 2.0mm, 1st string side: approx. 1.5mm
