This is an original peg (no wood modification) that has been maintained from the 70's to the 90's when rotomatic peg replacements were the norm. There is a crack on a part of the truss rod cover, but it is a minor case, and there is no evidence that the PU cover was removed (PU Plate: PAT. NO. 2737842). This is an excellent playing version with straight ES-335 controls, although it is the time when the transition to the spec with coil tap SW starts.
