Gibson Custom HC1964ES-335 VOS Shimo Cherry!
We have received a 2022 Gibson Custom Shop 1964 ES-335 reissue model featuring Gold Grover tuners. This EC-style guitar features original specifications, including milk bottle-style Gold Grover tuners and a Birdland truss rod cover.The color finish is a VOS version of "Simo Cherry"—a deep cherry hue categorized from a past collaboration with JD Simo—which may remind many guitarists of the Fairwell Concert ES-335, a model long coveted by many.
There are some pick scratches on the pickguard and the surrounding area, but given the VOS finish—which utilizes aging techniques and aged parts—you may not find them bothersome. There are no signs of heavy playing or abuse, and no noticeable damage, dents, or dings; it appears to be in a clean, rare, and beautiful condition. Additionally, there are no unusual issues with the controls, so it seems to be in excellent overall condition.
