[SN 017258] USED YAMAHA / SG-1000 Brown Sunburst [11]
The YAMAHA SG-1000 is a core model of the SG series introduced in the late 1970s, offering exceptional practicality with its traditional set-neck construction.Combining a maple top and mahogany back with an ebony fingerboard, it delivers tight, focused mids and the thick, resilient drive sound characteristic of humbuckers. While retaining the SG’s signature heft, it offers excellent playability thanks to a superb balance between quick attack and clear projection.
Furthermore, it features a coil tap (Bi-Sound) function, allowing for a sharp, single-coil-like tone. It offers the flexibility to excel across a wide range of genres. While inheriting elements from higher-end models, it was designed with the player in mind as a “live-performance SG” and continues to be highly regarded today.
There is some overall clouding of the finish.
There are numerous signs of wear, including scratches, dents, and discoloration on the parts.
