[SN 90381484] USED Gibson USA / 1991 Les paul Custom Alpine White [11]
It has a heavy Gibson-like construction and sound. The white color has been changed to a more subdued color with age, giving it a vintage look and feel.
The pots are genuine CTS parts, and pot date: R137 9104 x 2, R137 9047 x 1 (one pot is illegible due to solder), indicating early 1990s production. Both volume and tone are consistent with Gibson's original wiring of the time, and the high degree of originality of the electrical system is also a highly appreciated point. A ceramic type capacitor (MP203M 100V) is used.
While the low end is thick and dense, the high end is not buried and has a strong presence from clean to drive. The long sustain from the heavy body is also unique to the Les Paul Custom, making this a very attractive choice for players who enjoy early 90's Gibson guitars or are looking for a white Custom.
The frets have been replaced. Nuts have been replaced by a specialist. The cover of the rear pickup has been removed.
Paint cracks, peeling binding, metal rust, tanning, dirt, etc., all of which give this guitar an atmosphere that is more than its actual age, due to its played-in character and familiar appearance in the hand, and it is in player's condition.
The neck has some original upsets that cannot be corrected by the truss rod, but the current standard string height does not interfere with playing. The frets have been fretted and are in good playing condition.
