[SN 006510] USED Epiphone / LPC-80 Ebony [11]
The back of the head is marked "Made in Japan," and the high precision and stability of the Japanese-made construction make this a very attractive instrument.
Mahogany body and maple top construction with a set neck and 24.75" scale are the standard Les Paul specs. The exterior is Ebony color with multi-binding and gold parts, giving it a high-class look that is typical of Custom.
The truss rod cover is equipped with a two-point fastening type with Gibson's engraving, a detail typical of the high-end specifications for the Japanese market at that time. The fat and persistent sound can be used for a wide range of music from rock to blues.
Due to a cracked escutcheon and selector failure, each has been replaced.
There is a small chip on the head. Gold plating on the rear pickup cover has worn off and the color is gradually changing toward the center. Other metal parts are dull and rusty.
There are some scratches, dents, and signs of use.
