[SN 003309] USED Epiphone / LPC-80 Ebony [11]

[SN 003309] USED Epiphone / LPC-80 Ebony [11]

This is a Les Paul Custom style guitar manufactured during the Epiphone Japan period.
The back of the head is marked "Made in Japan," and the high precision and stability of the Japanese-made construction make this a very attractive instrument.
Mahogany body and maple top construction with a set neck and 24.75" scale are the standard Les Paul specs. The exterior is Ebony color with multi-binding and gold parts, giving it a high-class look that is typical of Custom.
The truss rod cover is equipped with a two-point fastening type with Gibson's engraving, a detail typical of the high-end specifications for the Japanese market at that time. The fat and persistent sound can be used for a wide range of music from rock to blues.
There are some metal parts with peeling of plating. Binding is burnt.
There is a paint crack near the neck joint. The endpin is slightly sunken, and there are paint chips around it that seem to be caused by the sinking. There are other scratches, dings, and metal rust throughout, and the guitar shows signs of use.
The neck has a slight forward warp on the 6th string side and a reverse warp on the 1st string side, and is twisted. The frets have been fretted and are in good playing condition.
