Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Ultra Heavy Aged is now in stock.
The guitar has been Ultra Heavy Aged by Murphy Lab, which gives it a vintage look even when new, making it look as if it has been played for years.
The neck shape is a faithful reproduction of a '50s Les Paul, and the Custombucker pickups produce a warm, fat sound that can be used for everything from clean to drive.
The body is lightweight mahogany with a maple top for an excellent balance of rich lows and clear highs. The round neck shape and smooth fingerboard provide excellent playability and comfort for extended use. The hardware and controls have also been faithfully reproduced, with the ABR?1 bridge, Stop Bar tailpiece, Kluson pegs, and other details that only a Custom Shop could have achieved.
This is a superb Reissue Les Paul that is highly valued both as a collector's item and as a guitar that is actually used in performance.
The guitar is originally aged, so any new scratches or signs of use cannot be determined.
The neck is in good playing condition with no noticeable abnormalities.
