Developed under the supervision of Mark Kendrick—a renowned master builder at the Fender Custom Shop with deep expertise in vintage instruments—the series is packed with specifications sure to captivate vintage enthusiasts.Every model in the Heritage series is designed based on profiling data from U.S.-made instruments, with body and neck shapes tailored to specific eras. From cross-wired pickups and pickup placement to tone and body color reproduction, every detail faithfully carries on Fender’s authentic legacy.
The Made in Japan Heritage 50s Telecaster features an ash body with a lacquer finish that deepens in color over time.Featuring a 1952 “U”-shaped maple neck with a 7.25-inch radius and 21 vintage-style frets, a three-saddle vintage-style string-through-body bridge with brass saddles, and pickups specially selected for the Heritage series, every specification of this instrument has been meticulously crafted to deliver classic playability and a sweet vintage tone.
There are several noticeable dents on the back of the body, and one area of paint chipping.
There are other signs of wear, such as scratches, paint chips, and dents.
The neck is in perfect condition and plays well.
