[SN D791237] USED Greco / SE700 T Tobacco Sunburst [11]

[SN D791237] USED Greco / SE700 T Tobacco Sunburst [11]

A Strat-style guitar that epitomizes the late 1970s, a period when the quality of Japanese-made copies surged dramatically.
Manufactured in the late 1970s, during the dawn of the "Japan Vintage" era, this model combines the high craftsmanship and practicality characteristic of Fujigen.

The body is believed to be made of alder, characterized by a resonant tone with a substantial weight to it. It features a solid mid-low range and a rich, sustained tone, offering a dense and appealing sound. The neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood, providing excellent attack along with a well-balanced, moderately mellow tone.

This particular guitar retains its original electronics; a "190331" stamp is visible on the pickguard between the front and center pickups. It is equipped with original PU-119 pickups, and the black bobbins bear the engravings "EXCEL" and "31276," while the lead wires are gray two-core, faithfully preserving the specifications of the era.

In terms of sound, it delivers a vintage-style single-coil tone with a wide dynamic range despite its modest output. It sounds delicate and light in clean settings, and produces a crisp, well-defined sound when driven.

Another key feature is that while it incorporates period-accurate specifications such as a large headstock and a truss rod adjustable at the neck end, it is finished as a Japanese-interpretation Stratocaster—not a "perfect replica."

More than just a copy, this is a guitar that combines practicality with collectible value.
There is a dent on the body top that extends slightly into the wood.
Otherwise, there are some minor scratches and dents, and it shows some signs of use.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
