USED Aria / 1362G LH [11]

USED Aria / 1362G LH [11]

An Aria Jazzbox model from the early days of Japanese full-hollow-body guitars.

This is a full-hollow-body guitar that follows the so-called ES-175 style, and this particular instrument appears to have been manufactured around the time of the Aria Diamond era. Although it features a laminated construction rather than a solid-carved body, it is designed to deliver a rich resonance, offering a soft, warm tone with a sense of airiness.

It is equipped with vintage-style pickups with moderate output, producing a subdued sound that isn’t overly assertive. It pairs well with chord work and mellow phrases, blending naturally into jazz, blues, and vocal accompaniment styles.

Another key feature is that this is a left-handed (LH) model. Production numbers were limited even at the time, and few remain today, making this a highly desirable instrument not only for practical use but also as a collector’s item.
The tuning pegs are a bit stiff.
Overall, there are scratches, dents, metal rust, and verdigris, showing signs of use.
The neck has a forward bow on the 6th string side and a slight reverse bow near the low frets, along with a kink. The 1st string side shows a forward bow and a kink, with twisting and warping. Due to the neck condition and fret wear, there is some buzzing on the 1st string side; the string height on that side has been raised to make it playable in its current state. The truss rod has limited adjustment range.
