[SN Q021880] USED Fender Japan / ST71-140YM Yellow and White [11]

[SN Q021880] USED Fender Japan / ST71-140YM Yellow and White [11]

Fender Japan's Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Model.
This guitar combines a classic appearance with practical playability. The 70s-style design—featuring a large headstock and a one-piece maple neck—is paired with a scalloped fingerboard, making it easy to produce sound even with a light touch and offering excellent responsiveness for vibrato and bending.

It is equipped with three DiMarzio DP217 HS-4 pickups. Since there are signs of soldering work inside, it appears the pickups have been replaced.
The configuration is unified across all three pickups, including the middle one, resulting in a clear, well-defined sound with minimal noise.

Based on the neck pocket, the body is believed to be made of basswood, and the weight is approximately 3.44 kg. It is lightweight and easy to handle, and its flat tone allows for flexible tone shaping with amplifiers and effects.

This model successfully balances a vintage-style look with modern playability at a high level. It is highly recommended for players who prioritize practicality and sound over strict adherence to the original design.
Back panel is missing.
There is a crack at the neck joint. The finish shows signs of sun fading and discoloration.
There are marks from a stand on the body end. There is paint wear around the strap pins.
Additionally, there are numerous scratches, dents, and metal rust throughout the instrument, indicating significant wear and use.
The neck shows no noticeable issues and is in good playing condition.
