[SN S714892] USED Fender USA / 1977 Mustang Natural [11]

[SN S714892] USED Fender USA / 1977 Mustang Natural [11]

This vintage Mustang combines the nimble feel unique to a short scale with a rich, full-bodied sound characteristic of the 1970s.
Built in 1977, this model offers the solid resonance of an ash body and the appeal of easy handling. The soft string tension characteristic of short-scale guitars makes it highly playable, making it a great fit for players with smaller hands or those who focus on chord work.
Equipped with two single-coil pickups, it features the Mustang’s unique control system that allows for individual pickup on/off and phase switching. It offers a wide range of tones, from the rich, rounded sound of the front pickup to the crisp sound of the rear pickup, and even the distinctive phased sound.
Unlike the lightness of the 1960s models, this 1970s model features a moderate weight and pronounced midrange, giving it a presence that won’t get lost in a band ensemble. It’s a guitar that balances vintage style with practicality.
There are signs of use, including scratches, dents, and some discoloration or rust on parts.
The nut and frets have been replaced.
We have performed a fret leveling procedure as dents were observed on the frets.
The neck is in good condition with no issues, and the instrument plays well.
