[SN 01672] USED Gibson Custom / Historic Collection 1960 Les Paul Reissue VOS Iced Tea [11]
[SN 01672] USED Gibson Custom / Historic Collection 1960 Les Paul Reissue VOS Iced Tea [11]
A Les Paul Reissue that recreates the 1960s specifications.
Known as the "R0," this model combines the unique specifications and playability characteristic of the final year of the Burst series.
Its most distinctive feature is the Slim Taper neck, characteristic of 1960 models. It is noticeably thinner than the 1959 model, delivering smooth fingering and exceptional playability. Its appeal lies in its excellent balance, maintaining a vintage-like tone while also accommodating modern playing styles.
In terms of construction, it faithfully follows the manufacturing methods of the era, featuring a long-tenon neck joint, hide glue, and a solid mahogany back with a figured maple top. Equipped with Custombuckers, it delivers the airy, sweet, and well-defined sound characteristic of PAF pickups.
Compared to the '59 model, the sound is slightly tighter with a faster attack, making it versatile enough to handle everything from chord work to lead playing. The result is a guitar that masterfully balances playability with vintage tone at a high level.
There is a dent near the third string peg on the headstock.
There are other minor scratches, dents, and signs of wear such as discoloration on the parts.
The neck is in good condition, and the guitar plays well.
