[SN DSV0189] USED DUESENBERG / Starplayer V Black [11]
While retaining Duesenberg’s signature Art Deco aesthetic and high build quality, the “Starplayer V” stands out for its design, featuring a flat top and back rather than the typical arched top. This design preserves the airy quality characteristic of semi-hollow bodies while delivering a tighter, faster-attacking response.
It features a P-90-style pickup in the front and a humbucker in the rear. It delivers a bright, clear tone in clean settings and a rich, full-bodied sound when driven, making it suitable for a wide range of genres. The mix position also offers a light, crisp cutting sound.
Furthermore, it is equipped with the brand’s proprietary “Diamond Deluxe Vibrato.” This system combines smooth vibrato action with high tuning stability, resulting in a finish that excels not only in appearance but also in practicality.
There are some scratches, dents, and signs of tarnish on the metal, indicating moderate wear.
The neck shows slight warping, with some twisting and waviness. However, there are currently no issues with playability.
