[SN 771117] USED Gibson Custom Shop / Historic Collection 1957 Les Paul Gold Top VOS Double Gold with Dark Back [11]

[SN 771117] USED Gibson Custom Shop / Historic Collection 1957 Les Paul Gold Top VOS Double Gold with Dark Back [11]

This model recreates the classic style of the '57 Goldtop with the rich tone and distinctive character unique to the Historic Collection.

Featuring traditional maple top and mahogany back construction, a thick 50s-style neck profile, and a non-weighted relief structure, this model delivers the rich, full-bodied sound characteristic of the Historic Collection. Equipped with Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups, it produces a vintage-style humbucker sound that retains a raw, unpolished edge.

This model features a VOS (Vintage Original Finish) finish, characterized by a subdued sheen and a patina on the metal parts that evokes a vintage aesthetic even more than when new. Although listed as a "Dark Back" model, the actual instrument features a deep brown back color, resulting in a sophisticated appearance.

Additionally, it is equipped with Bumble Bee-type capacitors. This is a somewhat rare specification for a Historic model from around 2007, suggesting it may have been upgraded by the previous owner or could be a variation from the standard specifications of that era.

This is a guitar that lets you enjoy the ruggedness and powerful tone unique to the Historic Collection era.
In addition to the unique character of the VOS finish, there are signs of genuine wear, such as scratches and scuffs on the body back and dents on the body top.
There is a slight waviness in the neck. The frets have been leveled, and there are currently no issues with playability.
