[SN JV85335] USED Squier / SST314H-55 [11]

[SN JV85335] USED Squier / SST314H-55 [11]

A Japanese-made Squier from the JV serial number era, strongly reflecting the modern aesthetic characteristic of Fender Japan’s early days.
The serial number is JV85335. This instrument is believed to have been manufactured by Fujigen around 1983–1984.
Featuring a 24.75-inch scale, this guitar is highly playable, combining the nimble feel of a Strat with the power characteristic of a humbucker-equipped model.
It also features modern details typical of the early 1980s, such as a 22-fret neck and an End ROX tremolo.
Its striking appearance, unified in white tones from the body to the headstock and throughout the neck, strongly evokes the “sense of the near future” envisioned by Fender Japan at the time—a distinct feel from today’s vintage reissue models.
Tremolo arm missing.
Details regarding the pickups (e.g., whether they are genuine Fender) are unknown.
The tuners have been replaced, and the screw holes from the original tuners remain. Additionally, the tuners are slightly stiff to turn.
There is a crack at the neck joint. There is a large chip in the finish extending from the tip of the headstock to the back. Sun fading is visible throughout.
Additionally, there are scratches, dents, dirt, and rust throughout, showing signs of use.
