[SN 72999578] USED Gibson / The Paul, 1979, Natural Walnut [12]
This model was produced for only two years, from 1978 to 1980, and was developed as a low-cost version of the Les Paul.
Featuring a flat-top walnut body with an elbow-contoured design, a slim walnut neck, and an ebony fingerboard, this guitar delivers a clear, trebly sound through its jumbo frets and T-Bucker pickups. Even when distorted, the tone retains its definition, making it ideal for hard rock.
The electronics have been replaced, and all pots are CTS units, believed to be recent models.
The finish on the neck grip has peeled off, and there are numerous scratches and dents scattered throughout the instrument.
There is a large area of paint peeling on the body top, likely caused by picking.
While it shows signs of use, the strings have been replaced and the guitar has been cleaned in-store, so playability is good.
