USED Gibson / 1970s Les Paul Custom [12]

USED Gibson / 1970s Les Paul Custom [12]

We have received a Gibson Les Paul Custom from the early 1970s.
It features a pancake body, a mahogany 3-piece neck, and early '70s specifications.
The neck features a volute and is stamped "Made in USA"; the logo is the closed-O style without the dot.
The neck has been repaired due to a break, so the serial number cannot be verified, and the exact year of manufacture is unknown due to numerous replaced parts.

The tuners, plastic parts, strap pins, hardware, screws, jack plate, bridge, tailpiece, and studs have been replaced. The pickups are Gibson 490R/498T, and the pots, capacitors, selector switch, and jack have all been replaced as well. The cavity has been shielded.
The frets and nut have been replaced; the frets have over 70% of their original height remaining, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is fully adjustable.
Although this guitar has numerous scratches, dents, and paint damage, and has a history of part replacements and a broken neck, it has been thoroughly repaired and adjusted
thoroughly performed, making this a guitar that is still very much playable.

The handle on the hard case has been replaced.
