The Ventures 40th Anniversary Model, released in 2001, has arrived.
Built to commemorate the Ventures' 40th anniversary and released in 2001, this is the Ventures Don Wilson model that has been a favorite on stage for many years.
It features a smooth curved-top alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (22 frets), and is equipped with the original VOS-1 pickups featuring Alnico V magnets.
It is equipped with a completely original, handmade bridge and tremolo system.
There are scattered minor scratches and dents throughout the body, and the hardware shows some tarnish; however, the protective film on the pickups and pickguard remains intact, and the instrument is in good overall condition.
The volume and tone knobs have been replaced, but the original parts are included (the tone knob’s metal plate is missing).
The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller locking pins, and the corresponding strap hardware is included.
It has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
