[SN 23 0361356] USED Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / Silver Sky / John Mayer Signature Moc Sand Satin [12]
[SN 23 0361356] USED Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / Silver Sky / John Mayer Signature Moc Sand Satin [12]
Based on elements of the 1963/1964 vintage guitars so beloved by John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith, this model has been crafted into the ideal single-coil guitar.
While the headstock shape is based on PRS’s trademark design, modifications—such as an offset peg position—have been made to ensure sufficient string length from the nut to the pegs and further enhance tuning stability, taking John Mayer’s playing style into account.
The tuners are traditional vintage-style closed-back types, but feature a locking mechanism.
The neck profile follows that of a 1963/1964 vintage model, and the fingerboard radius is 7.25 inches, delivering an authentic vintage feel the moment you pick it up.
Like the tuners, the steel tremolo retains the classic design while featuring a PRS tremolo arm and GEN III knife-edge screws.
The bridge is adjusted to sit flush against the body when the guitar is in tune.
The contact between the bridge and the body improves the guitar’s resonance and enhances the signal-to-noise ratio of the single-coil pickups.
The 635JM single-coil pickups are characterized by a mellow yet powerful tone.
There is a scratch on the body top extending from the pickguard to the body end, next to the jack plate.
While there are some fine scratches and dents overall, the guitar shows minimal signs of use and is in good condition.
It has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
