The Gibson Melody Maker was introduced in 1959 as an inexpensive student model.
The chic design with no ornamentation and the unique sound of the thin body have earned it a strong fan base.
The body and neck are made of mahogany, a classic Gibson material, and a special single-coil pickup mounted on the pickguard produces a light and crisp sound in combination with the thin body.
This model is very lightweight and easy to handle with simple operation.
There are some dents and dings on the back apex corner of the head and on the side of the body. There is a dent on the lower part of the body back. There are fine line scratches and small dents overall.
