[SN 927178] USED GIBSON / 1970s Les Paul Custom Ebony [20]
Although the serial number indicates a production date of 1970–1972, it incorporates many features typical of models from 1975 onward, such as a 3-piece maple neck, a 2-piece truss rod cover, thicker frets, and a die-cast tailpiece.
The tuners are Kluson 501VX; the control cavity has a curve, and the ABR-1 bridge bears a patent number.
The pickups have been replaced with Gibson pickups bearing PAF stickers, and the POT date is legible only on the front tone control (manufactured in 1978).
The original frets have worn down significantly, and the nut is made of brass.
There is a crack in the truss rod cover, and one rear pickup escutcheon screw, one back panel screw, the jack plate, and the control knobs have been replaced; some metal parts show tarnish, rust, or thinning plating.
There is an impact mark accompanied by a dent in the wood near the control cavity on the back of the body caused by a screw, and there is paint peeling on the 9th fret of the neck and the top of the headstock.
There are numerous dents accompanied by paint cracks and dents on the body sides and back, and overall, there are many scratches, dull spots in the clear coat, and dents.
