[SN HS9 50378] USED GIBSON CUSTOM / Historic Select 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue Heavy Aged Ebony on Iguana [20]
Unlike the True Historic Series, which had an annual production limit, this is Gibson Custom’s flagship model that retains all the benefits of the True Historic Series while allowing for requests for factory-selected woods, custom colors, pickups, and hardware.
This hand-selected model features locally sourced wood; beautiful figured maple lies beneath the ebony finish, and the heavy-aged finish reveals an iguana-colored base beneath the ebony top.
The pickups and rear tone control have been replaced. While the pickup brand is unknown, they are labeled "Front Rhy" and "Rear Lead," and the rear tone control features a coil tap function, enabling a wide range of sounds.
The guitar was originally finished with a heavy aged look, so it is difficult to determine if there are any new scratches, but there are no noticeable dents or scratches on the neck.
