The Ibanez AZ was developed for guitarists with a background in rock, metal, and fusion, with a focus on versatility across all performance scenarios.
Since its release, however, the demand for a 7-string model—one that offers high playability, a rich tonal palette, a wide dynamic range, and versatility across any musical genre—has been heard not only from metal guitarists but from musicians across various genres.
Driven by their voices, Ibanez, as a pioneer of multi-string guitars, is releasing the AZ-7 model.
It can be described as a 7-string guitar that breaks new ground, incorporating the know-how in development and manufacturing of multi-string guitars cultivated over nearly 30 years, as well as the resources, specifications, and empirical knowledge gained from the creation of the AZ series.
