When it comes to the King of Electric Acoustic Guitars, many in the industry would probably say "Ovation" or "Adamas". The innovative shape and materials used. There is no doubt that they are truly one and only.
To put it bluntly, it is a guitar for different tastes. The Ovation model made a worldwide impact, captivating guitarists and singers alike, and was first released in prototype form in 1976, and then from 1977 to 1978.
Since its release, it has been discontinued, reissued, and reproduced, but it is still the flagship model of Ovation.
That is the "Super Adamas. You may have seen it being used by various musicians in Japan.
Some of them have attracted so many collectors. The carvings on the head and bridge in particular have transcended the framework of the guitar and enhanced its presence.
The "Super Adamas" in stock this time is a red-colored "1687-2" full-body model made in 1994, with Adamas' original carbon graphite top, which is about 1/3 the thickness of a wood top but stronger, and a deep-bowl body back made of Lilacord resin, Walnut neck, Walnut fingerboard, Walnut bridge.
Schaller pegs, Walnut fingerboard. Original fan bracing, double epaulette sound hole. The preamplifier installed is "OP24".
This "OP24" is a simple "Volume" and "3BAND EQ" preamp that has been installed for many years.
(In the early days, it had only 2 knobs, Volume and Tone.) Later, the model change of the preamplifier was made around 1995, and it became a model with a tuner called "Optima", but many of them had tuner defects, and the popularity is still concentrated on the ones until around 1994.
The condition is very clean and has few signs of use, considering its age, and still meets the expectations of players and collectors.
If there is any damage worth mentioning, it is only a slight scratch on the tuning key and a slight bump in the paint on the neck end, which is hardly noticeable.
* Neck adjustment will be handled by a subcontractor, so any adjustments or repairs after purchase will be handled by our store.
